Since the beginning of 2023, we have been providing financial support to help people spay/neuter their outdoor cats. As of the end of May, we have helped we have helped a number of Wisconsin residents spay/neuter their outdoor cats. Here are some of the lucky kitties!
There are HOW many cats?!
August 11, 2021 was a long day with strong storms and hot, humid weather but 87 cats from a property in Wood County (including 8 from a neighbor) were spayed or neutered. It may sound cliché but it takes a village! Thank you to Birds of a Sweater for sponsoring 70 cat surgeries and facilitating food donations for the property owner. Thank you to all the shelters for helping with kittens: Marshfield Area Pet Shelter, Madison Cat Project, Humane Society of Portage County, Oneida County Humane Society, Feline/Canine Friends, Inc., Chequamegon Humane Association, and Helping PAWS Pet Rescue, Inc. Thank you Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter for disposable mats for the cats to recover comfortably on. Thank you to Crockett Septic, LLC for help with a portable toilet last minute! The biggest thank you to all the individuals that fostered kittens, financially donated, transported traps, and helped trap the cats. In total, 56 kittens and 2 social teen cats were removed in the past month. This would not have been possible without these partnerships and kind hearted people! Many lives were changed today!
